Yes, Inshallah our Nikkah’s in East London Mosque can assist you and provide witnesses and wali (please discuss and agree the fees charged for providing the witnesses prior to the ceremony). Please notify us when booking your ceremony that you will need 1 or 2 witnesses, as finding a suitable witness would on average take 4-5 days. Please note that a witness deposit will be required if you want us to hire witnesses for you.
Please attend our Mosque located on Malford Grove, South Woodford, East London, E18 2DX, with the following: Bride, Groom, two witnesses and brides guardian (Father, Grandfather or Uncle) after booking your appointment and after paying the booking fee.
The maximum number of guests is 7 (which includes Bride and Groom). If you want to bring more guest than 7, please let us know in advance so that our Admin. can quote the additional fees for setting up extra seats. Please note that children below 10 years of age are not permitted. Our policy is to not permit any food to be served to your guests on the day of your Nikkah.
For ceremonies in your house/flat, hall or restaurant, please provide your full address with the full post code of the venue where you want the Nikkah ceremony to take place. Please note that our Imam will be able to quote his Nikkah service fee for your house Nikkah, once we have received your full address and postcode. Please note, there will be a higher deposit for Nikkah ceremonies conducted at your home address, restaurant or wedding venue, as our Imam will attend these venues in a cab.

Most of our clients book their Nikkah Ceremonies at least 5 days to 2 weeks in advance (most of our clients bring their own wedding witnesses).

Our East London Shariah Council, based at 5A, Malford Grove, South Woodford, East London, E18 2DX, provides a fast Khula divorce certificates for our clients, who are seeking a speedy dissolution of their marriages. We can assist you in Divorce & Khula certificates issuing via our sister organisation, (East London Shariah Council) in situations where the marriage has broken down irretrievably.

You need the following :-
1) Two adult male Muslim witnesses (above 18 years of age) who should attend your wedding and also should sign the Muslim Marriage Certificate/ Nikkah Certificate. The two witnesses should bring proof of their identity, to show to our Imam, on the wedding date. The proof of identity could be a valid Passport OR a valid photo card Driving Licence. If you haven’t got either, please let us know so that we can ask for other documents for ID checks.
2) The bride’s “Walli” ( bride’s guardian), usually her father (grandfather, uncle or brother) should also attend the ceremony to sign the “Muslim Nikkah Certificate”. Walli’s attendance is in addition to two witnesses’ attendance on that day. If the brides Walli is unable to attend for distance, ailment or any other reason, please let us know so that we can provide a Walli.
3) Before the Nikkah date, the couple should also discuss and mutually agree regarding the “amount of MAHAR”, as the ” MAHAR” sum is recorded on the “Muslim Nikkah Certificate” and is a compulsory part of the Islamic Nikkah.

MAHAR is a gift of good value which is offered by a Muslim bridegroom to his future wife before or at the time of Nikkah ceremony according to his financial status.

It takes approximately 55-65 minutes to conduct the Muslim marriage ceremony in our East London Mosque.

YES, we can assist our clients and will provide witnesses and Walli to attend the ceremony. Please notify us 4-5 in advanced if you need Witnesses or Walli or both.
Please note our Imam will attend your house after you have made your appointment and will conduct your Nikah in your house in London W2 area. Please note out East London Nikah services covers Greater London and all parts of the UK. We will request a 50% deposit of the total fee for a Muslim Marriage ceremony in your house/flat or hall or restaurant. Please ask for our Imam’s fee code for a Nikah in a house, hall or a hotel.
Yes. Our Imam, will attend your house/flat, hall or restaurant and will perform your Islamic Nikah total compliance with Sharia Law & Sunnah (tradition of the prophet.) He will also issue the couple with an appropriate Muslim Marriage Certificate also called “Nikah Nama”.
