Dr. Zafar Malik
Dr. Zafar Malik was born in the great SIR “Allama Iqbal’s” (Poet – Philosopher) city of SIALKOT, Pakistan on 17th May 1943. He received his primary and secondary education at Islamia Primary & Islamia High Schools, Sialkot. He achieved good grades during his secondary school examination in 1958. He attended the old British era “Murray College”, Sialkot for the next two years for his A level (i.e. F. Sc) and in April 1960, he achieved a meritorious award from the Punjab University, Lahore awarding him Punjab University’s 5 years’ Merit Scholarship which continued during his five years’ medical education at Nishtar Medical College, Multan, Pakistan. He successfully passed his final professional M.B.B.S degree examination in 1965, thus becoming a full medical doctor at the age of 22.
